David W. Kelm, 58, of Wyanet passed away at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at his home in rural Wyanet. Born April 4, 1955, in Kewanee to William and Elaine (Gutschlag) Kelm, he married Elizabeth R. Ashley July 21, 2001, in Atkinson. She survives. A 1973 graduate of Manlius High School, he was a lifetime farmer. He was an avid golfer, Green Bay fan, and fisherman. He was a member of the Hidden Lake Golf Course, National Rifle Association and the Route 6 Bowling League. Also surviving are one son, Trevor Kelm of Manlius; one daughter, Audra Kelm of Chicago; three stepsons, Scott Hill of Geneseo, Dustin Hill of Kewanee and Brody DeVrieze of Princeton; his mother, Elaine Kelm of Sheffield; one sister, Karla (Tim) Miller of Sheffield; one brother, Michael (Colleen) Kelm of LaMoille; and four stepgrandchildren, Chelsie Hill of Kewanee, Camron Hill of Kewanee, Kaiden Hill of Geneseo and Alexandra Hill of Mineral. He was preceded in death by his father. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick''s Catholic Church, Sheffield, with Father Mark Miller officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick''s Catholic Cemetery, Sheffield. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Manlius, with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the donor''s choice. Pallbearers will be Don King, Fred Lebahn, Russ Munson, Greg Polte, Toby Sanden and Jeff Peterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Raabe, Tom Slock, Dennis DeDecker, Roger VanOpdorp, Tim Miller and Jamie Goodale.
