Carroll Anne Frost, 66, of rural Princeton passed away in her home on August 21, 2009 at 5:14 a.m. after an extended illness. Mrs. Frost was born on August 20, 1943 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to Carroll Perdue Cranston and Minerva Elizabeth (Domm) Cranston. She married Lincoln Jerome Frost, Jr. on January 25, 1960 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She was a homemaker. She received a Nurse's Aide Certificate at Illinois Valley Community College. She is survived by her husband: three daughters Elizabeth (James) Hauger of Peru; Cynthia (Kevin) Murphy of Marseilles; Rachel (James) Starkey, Jr of Princeton; two sons, Lincoln (Janet) Frost III of Princeton; Jacob (Christine) Frost of Ottawa. Mrs. Frost had twelve grandchildren, Benjamin (Tracy) Day of Gillette, Wyoming; Jessi (Jeff) Day-Mini of Granville; Brittany (Jade) Day-Gualandi of Granville; Catherine, Cordelia, Kenneth and Cassidy Murphy of Marseilles; Zoe and James Starkey III of Princeton; Lauren, Emma and Angela Frost of Princeton; six step-grandchildren, Trina, Stacy and Eric Hauger, Kira, Kylea and Karlee Starkey of Peru; and two great-grandchildren Kaleb Gualandi and Braxton Day-Mini. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Catherine (Cranston) Doucet. The visitation for family and friends will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2009 at the residence of Jim and Rachel Starkey, 15486 2750 E St, Princeton, IL 61356. There will be no funeral. Memorials may be directed to Bureau Valley Volunteer Hospice. Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton is assisting the family.
