William "Billy" Sisler

william
William "Billy" Sisler, 41, of Ohio, Ill., went to be with his Lord and Savior and his beloved mother on Oct. 21, 2011, following an accident at his place of employment in Ohio, Ill. He was born on Jan. 30, 1970, at Perry Memorial Hospital to William and Marlene Sisler. He had just married Nicole Croegaert on Oct. 9, 2011, in a beautiful setting at Hornbaker Gardens in Princeton and enjoyed an incredible honeymoon on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. He is survived by his wife, Nicole Sisler of Ohio, Ill.; children Tieg and Lucas Sisler of Princeton; father William M. Sisler of Ohio, Ill.; sisters Carmen (Bob) Sissel of Princeton, Kathy (Mike) McGinley of St. Charles and Karen (James) Anderson of Ohio, Ill.; father-in-law Bill Bebej and mother-in-law Cheryl Bebej of Princeton; nieces Vanessa Sissel, Annette McGinley and Keira Croegaert; and nephews Parker and Chase Evans, and Aidan Croegaert; great-niece and nephew Audrey and Levi. Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother. Bill graduated from Ohio High School in Ohio, Ill., as salutatorian in 1988. He was very passionate about his job at the family''s business, Sisler''s Ice and Ice Cream, where he was not only a delivery driver but a "mister fix it," production manager, co-owner and ice cream maker. Bill was a fun loving guy who enjoyed life and spending time with his wife, children and family. He was very devoted to those he loved and it was evident. During the summer he loved to take his children to amusement and water parks. He enjoyed various outdoor activities such as boating, water skiing, snow skiing and tubing down the Green River. One of Bill''s greatest joys was coaching various sport activities that his kids were participating in. You could always find him on the sidelines or in the bleachers cheering his children on. Thursday nights were very special to Bill because he spent time with his children and family playing games and enjoying a good meal. He was a former IHSA referee and volunteer fireman for Ohio Fire Department. He had attended the Evangelical Covenant Church, and before his passing, he was attending the People Church. He will be remembered in the hearts and minds of the many people who knew and loved him. Please join us as we celebrate and make tribute to the 41 years of Bill''s life. The visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 25, at the Evangelical Covenant Church, 24 N. Main St., Princeton and the funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Evangelical Covenant Church. Graveside services will follow at Union Cemetery in Ohio, Ill.
