William "Bill" Dean Fleming, 76, of Princeton passed away at 4:26 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2013, at Liberty Village of Princeton. Born May 14, 1937, in Princeton to Walter and Mary (Long) Fleming, he married Patt Lampkin June 6, 1959, in Princeton. She survives. He was a 1955 graduate of Wyanet High School. He had been employed as an electrician for 48 years and was the owner and operator of Lampkin Sales & Service from 1980 to 2011. He was a charter member of B.P.O.E. 1461 Elks Lodge in Princeton. He served in the U.S. Navy from November 1955 to October 1957 aboard the USS Hornet. Also surviving are one son, Robert C. Fleming of Olympia, Wash.; one daughter, Sue (Doug) Thompson of Malden; eight grandchildren, April (Dustin) Landrus of Princeton, Devin Fleming of Princeton, Amy Jo Fleming of Princeton, twins Eric Fleming of Kearny, Neb., and Dillon Fleming of Olympia, Wash., twins Ben and Brody Jackson of Malden, and Destiny Fleming of Walnut; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Richard C. Fleming; and one son, Roger C. Fleming on Oct 4, 2010. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with Julie Grady officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Princeton. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the donor''s choice.
