Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Wilbur & I go way back.
As a high school kid, I worked at Perry Memorial hospital for Wilbur in the maintenance dept. He would pick me up in Tiskilwa & take me to work with him.
It always helps to know the boss, I learned.
As he talked about retiring, I told him my Dad would be a good choice some day. Louis Ziegler started working there for Wilbur & took the helm when Wilbur retired. Dad held that position until he retired.
Wilbur & I always laughed at our memories as I visited with him & Doris these past 3 years.
I’ll see him again one day, and we’ll laugh some more.

  2. I’m so sorry for the loss of Wilbur. He and Doris were always special. I will remember his smile. I’ m unable to attend the visitation or the funeral. My love and prayers to Doris and all the family.

  3. I worked with Wilbur for many years and so enjoyed visiting with him. He was a kind and strong gentleman who always listened and took great pride in his work. Love and Prayers for his family and friends
