Victoria Jean Buckman

Victoria Jean Buckman, 63, of Buda died at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at Liberty Village in Princeton. Born March 21, 1947, in Princeton to Rhymon and Elizabeth (Roberts) Stanard, she married Gerald Wayne Buckman Sr. in Princeton, on Aug. 13, 1970. He died March 7, 2010. Survivors include two sons, Mark (Brooke) Bailey of Atkinson, and Gerald Buckman Jr. of Buda; one daughter, Tara Pond of Buda; six grandchildren, Caleb, Jared, Elizabeth, Preslie, Isaac and Bella; and one sister, Libbi (Larry) Moore of Princeton. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Mary Jo Farrell and Lynn Brennan. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1965. She was an apartment manager at CNA Roosevelt Square and member of St. Patrick''s Catholic Church in Sheffield. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, Father Jeffrey Stirniman officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick''s Catholic Cemetery, Sheffield. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family of Victoria J. Buckman.
