Vera "Bonnie" Yvonne Crayne

Vera "Bonnie" Yvonne Crayne, 86, of Wyanet, died at 3:30 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2018, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. Born June 25, 1931, in New Bedford, the daughter of Harold E. and Grace (Skaggs) Heuer, she married Alfred Charles Crayne Sept. 1, 1956, in Princeton. He died May 19, 1991. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Wyanet United Methodist Church and taught Sunday school. She was also a member of Wyanet V.F.W. Auxiliary 6634 and a former member of the Wyanet School Board. She tutored children to read and was a mall walker. Surviving are three sons, Steve (Jane) Day of Wyanet, Charles (Odelia) Crayne of Rowlett, Texas, and Joe D. (Sherri) Crayne of Rowlett, Texas; two daughters, Vicki (James) Ross of Wyanet and Kathy D. Crayne of Wyanet; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Richard (Terri) Heuer of Torrence, Calif., and Jackie (Adrienne) Heuer of Pensacola, Fla.; and two sisters-in-law, Barbara Heuer of Wyanet and Shirley Heuer of Princeton. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Gerald "Buster" and Duane Heuer. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 1, at the United Methodist Church in Wyanet with the Rev. Gale Brandner officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family of Vera Yvonne Crayne.
