Thadius Patterson

Thadius Patterson, 64, of Princeton, Illinois passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.
Thad was born May 27, 1956 in Rockford, Illinois the son of George W. and Hallie (Brown) Patterson.
He is survived by three sisters; Rosemary Friar, Melissa and Yolanda Patterson; brother; Vince and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Alice Patterson and three brothers Overtis Patterson, Otto Von Patterson, and George Jr. Patterson.
Thad proudly worked as a janitor at Heartland Bank and Purdy Brother’s Trucking. He enjoyed fishing, country music, dancing and playing on his IPAD. His greatest love was attending church at New Hope Church of the Nazarene and worshiping the Lord.
Due to COVID 19 there will be an online memorial service held Thursday July 09, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. This can be viewed by going to New Hope Church of the Nazarene’s Facebook page. Memorials may be directed to Gateway Services, Inc or New Hope Church of the Nazarene.

I remember working in the house that Thad lived at. He always was a ray of sunshine and knew how to make me smile everyday I came into work. His laugh was contagious as well as the love he shared for everyone. Thad will always hold a special place in my heart. Rest easy buddy, the Lord has a nice place for you up there.
