Teresa Yvonne Gibbons

Teresa Yvonne Gibbons, 68, of Tiskilwa, passed away on September 10, 2026, at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.

Teresa was born on October 29, 1957, to Robert and Helen (White) Bozman in Elyria, Ohio. She married Randall “Randy” Gibbons on April 21, 1983, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Teresa enjoyed crafting and painting, especially creating barn quilts and flower pot decorations. She found great joy in expressing her creativity through her many artistic projects.

Teresa’s greatest joy was her family. She and Randy opened their hearts and home to their nieces, Shannon and Tabitha, raising them as their own from the age of 13. They were a beloved and cherished part of Teresa’s life, and the love she had for them was like that of a mother.

She is survived by her husband, Randy, of Tiskilwa; her nieces, Shannon and Tabitha; her sister, Ann (Larry) Barrette of Oswego; and numerous additional nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Mary Beth Lewis; and her brothers, Darrell and Robert Bozman.

Memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton. Cremation rites have been accorded.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Friends of Strays in Teresa’s honor.
