Shirley J. Bradley, 76, of Princeton died at 7:35 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born July 22, 1935, in Manlius to Cecil and Hazel (House) Krager, she married Donald L. Bradley on Nov. 14, 1954, in Manlius. He died Dec. 16, 2011. She graduated from Manlius High School in 1953. She worked for Champion Pneumatic in Princeton for 22 years and was a librarian aide for Wyanet Grade School and Bureau Valley Elementary School in Sheffield for 18 years. She was a Sunday school teacher for First Presbyterian Church in Princeton. She and her husband enjoyed playing pinochle with their card club. She enjoyed working with ceramics. She spent numerous hours reading cookbooks and enjoyed cooking. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include a daughter, Katherine (Mark) Munson of Portsmounth, Va.; two grandsons. Mark (Michele) Munson of Arlington, Va. and Matthew Munson of Virginia Beach, Va.; two great-grandchildren, Lydia and Samuel Munson of Arlington, Va; and two sisters, Janice (Alan) Madison of Walnut and Carol Sue Ries of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary L. Bradley and one brother, Thomas L. Krager. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, the Rev. Aaron Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the Manlius Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers. memorials may be made to the Bureau Valley Elementary Library. Pallbearers will be Mark Munson, Matthew Munson, Alan Madison, Greg Dabler, Brad Angus and Gregg Henness.
