Samantha Anne Birtell

Samantha Anne Birtell, 26, of Princeton died Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Sami was born May 9, 1992 in Chicago. She graduated from Rockford Auburn High School in May 2013. She was part of the Rockvale Children’s Home in Rockford and the Gateway community in Princeton.

Sami loved Chinese food, coffee, guacamole and spicy food. She also enjoyed bingo, playing on her iPad, puzzles and jewelry, especially her rings and bracelets. She loved hearts and just being with people.

She is survived by friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her friends and family.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at Gateway Services in Princeton.
