BRADFORD – Ruth Ann Schupp, age 70, of Bradford, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago. Private family services will be held. Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Bradford is in charge of arrangements. Ruth was born April 3, 1945 in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Frank L. and Mildred (Gish) Davis. She married Gary L. Schupp October 18, 1969 in Sparland, Illinois. He survives. Other survivors include her children, Jimmy (Jill) Schupp of Wyoming, Jana Schupp of Hennepin, Julie (Jan) Gage and Wendy Moodie, both of Bradford. Also surviving are grandchildren, Weston (Dani) Schupp, Tayler Gage, Wyatt and Whitney Schupp, Lane and Haylie Moodie, and a great grandbaby Schupp on the way. She was preceded in death by one brother, Ron Davis; one sister, Eloise Hunt; and two sons in-law, Danny Posa and Corey Moodie. Ruth was retired produce manager for Kroger in Chillicothe. She dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren, rarely missing their different sporting events and rodeos. Ruth used to raise and show horses. She enjoyed bowling, camping, and spending winters in Texas. Memorial contributions in Ruth''s honor may be made to St. Jude''s Childrens Research Hospital. Family and friends are invited to come and share your favorite memories at a Celebration of Life, Friday, June 26 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bradford American Legion.

    My heart breaks for you all. But knowing she is no longer in pain & with some special people in heaven, gives us peace. She raised some great kids & my best friend, whom I m forever grateful for. She made the best salsa I’ve ever had.She made me laugh many times.I feel very lucky to have known her & she will be missed dearly.
