Ruth A. Hobrock, 92, of Princeton passed away at 7:20 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.

Ruth was born Oct. 19, 1926, in Buda, the daughter of Ralph Alexander and Allie LaRue (Gutshall) Roberts. She married Richard “Dick” Hobrock on Jan. 31, 1970, in Skokie. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2018.

She graduated from Buda High School with the Class of 1944. She was a retired accountant.

She was a member of Princeton Women of the Moose and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Walnut. She was very active at Perry Memorial Hospital as an Auxiliary member and Gold Coat, and Dick and Ruth have a room dedicated to them there. Ruth enjoyed fishing, traveling, crafting and cooking.

Surviving are one son, James Catt; one daughter, Barbara Condy; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; three sisters-in law, Joan Roberts of Venice, Fla., Marie Dawson of Princeton and Juanita Roberts-Beams of Tiskilwa; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five brothers, James, Robert, Richard, Fred and William; and six sisters, Doris Woods, Mildred Martin, Roberta Grafton, Lois Arnold, Joann Gerard and Phyllis Marchello.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 23, at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton. Services will follow at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Brian Heller officiating. Inurnment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Princeton.

Memorials may be directed to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Walnut or Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.

    i knew thru the Princeton Golden ” K” ,Club . The club go out to dinner what a joy to be around ! They both did alot of good as Gold Coats at Perry Memorial.
