PRINCETON — Roger L. Mills, 79, of Sheffield passed Friday, Jan 5, 2018, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. Roger was born April 2, 1938 in Iaeger, WV (McDowell County) to Elmer and Virgie Mills. He married Mary in 1961 after 1 month of courtship. Roger was a member of the Town of Sheffield Board, a member of the volunteer Fire Fighters while working at Bell & Howell for 18 years, an avid fisherman and hunter, a proud grandfather to Megan, and enjoyed talking and sharing his experiences with everyone he encountered. Roger is survived by his wife, Mary; one child Tom (Jeri) of Northbrook and one grand child Megan. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m to 4:00pm Saturday, Jan 13th at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home 30 W.
