Rodney “Rod” Allan Rediger, 59, of Buda, IL passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026 at his home surrounded by loved ones.
Rod was born on October 20, 1966, in Princeton, the son of Ralph and Rebecca (Stroud) Rediger. He graduated from Western High School in Buda and went on to earn his Associate’s Degree from Blackhawk College.
On April 2, 1999, Rod married the love of his life, Julie Rediger, at the First United Church of Christ. Together, they shared 27 wonderful years of marriage before his passing.
Rod dedicated much of his career as a welder, working for Van-Packer for 29 years, and most recently for Nutrien for the past five years. He also proudly volunteered with the Buda Fire Department for nearly 40 years and the Buda Rescue while it was active, always ready to serve his community.
