Robert R. Rudiger

Robert Randall Rudiger, 83, of Manlius died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. Born Nov. 8, 1931, in Manlius to Esther Rudiger, he married Beth Marie Swanson July 21, 1956, in Manlius. She survives. He graduated from Manlius High School in 1949. He retired from Kory Farm Equipment in 2001. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manlius, the Princeton Elks and the Manlius Fire Department. He served in the U.S. Army. Also surviving are one son, Audie Rudiger of Dixon; one daughter, Rhonda (David) Panzica of Minonk; and two grandsons, Nicholas Panzica of Minonk and Jonathan Panzica of Minonk. He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Bill Rudiger. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manlius, with the Rev. Kim Lee-Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Manlius Cemetery, Manlius. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Military rites will be conducted by Wyanet VFW Post 6634. Memorials may be directed to the Manlius Cemetery Association.
A wonderful man with a smile and laugh that made you feel loved. God has privileged his friends and our family with his presence on earth. We shall see him again with God’s Grace.

So sorry for your loss. We remember all the fun times we had golfing with them at Hidden Lake (formerly Coal Creek). He will truly be missed.
