Robert P. Bogner, 73, of Bradford died at 11:35 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2008, at Toulon Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Toulon, Ill. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008, in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Bradford, with Father Vien Van Do officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in St. John''s Catholic Cemetery in rural Bradford. He was born Feb. 22, 1935, in Henry, Ill., to Frank (Gertrude Barnes) Bogner. Surviving are two brothers, Howard Bogner of Peoria, Ill., and Jim (Barbara) Bogner of Lebanon, Tenn.; and two sisters, Mary Maher of Wyoming, Ill., and Jean Moore of Henry, Ill. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, John "Jack" Bogner, Eddie Bogner, Richard Bogner and Donald "Bill" Bogner; and three sisters, Arlene Britt, Rita Frazier and Dorothy Westerfeld. He graduated from Bradford High School in 1953. He was a farmer. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Bradford.
