Robert I. Hopper

Robert "Bob" I. Hopper, 81, of Tiskilwa, Illinois passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at his home.
He was born November 13, 1940 in Tampico, Indiana the son of Perry and Delma (Zollman) Hopper.
Bob married Judy Harmon July 22, 1962 at the Methodist Church in Tiskilwa. She survives in Tiskilwa.
He is also survived by three children: Robert (Marion) Hopper of Tiskilwa, David (Jill) Hopper of Wyanet, IL, and Mike (Karen) Hopper of Jacksonville, IL; three grandchildren: Brandon (Nicole) Hopper of Shorewood, Minnesota, Derek (Shian) Hopper of Peoria, IL, and Nicole Hopper of Jacksonville, IL; step-granddaughter, Courtney Pointer of Princeton, IL; and a special little girl who called him grandpa, Harper Warner; five great-grandchildren: Sutherlyn, Hallstin, Henry, Beckett, and Zackary; five siblings: Gordon Hopper, Agnes Chasteen, Eva (Larry) Lyman, Roger Hopper, and Sue Bowers; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved cats.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings: Charles Hopper, Kenneth Hopper, and Margaret Cass.
Bob worked for 44 years at Champion Pneumatic in Princeton.
He enjoyed working in his garage on woodwork and tinkering with mechanics.
Cremation rites will be accorded and burial will take place in Mt. Bloom Cemetery, Tiskilwa, Illinois at a later date. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital in his memory. Online condolences may be sent to www.grant-johnsonfh.com.

I’m sorry for the loss of Bob. He was a great family man and when someone was in need, he was always the first to lend a hand. He will be missed but never forgotten.
I am so very sorry to hear of Uncle Bob’s passing. Aunt Judy and the rest of the family are in my prayers.
