Robert E. Clementz

Robert Eugene Clementz, 69, of Princeton, Illinois died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Heritage Manor in Walnut, Illinois.

He was born June 8, 1949 in Kewanee, IL the son of Donald and Marilyn (Truedson) Clementz. He married Pamela Jean Noble on April 5, 1969 in Princeton. They divorced.

Bob is survived by one daughter, Heather Mattern of Princeton, IL; one son Tony Clementz of Princeton, IL; 3 grandchildren: Aaron and Becki Mattern of Princeton and Kolbey Clementz of Princeton, IL; 2 brothers: Duane (Kim) Clementz of New Bedford, IL and Richard Clementz of Portage, WI and several  aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Patricia Gannaway.

He graduated from Manlius High School with the Class of 1967. He was a retired truck driver for Consolidated Freight and Wal-Mart in Princeton.

Bob served in the U.S. Army as a Sgt E5 from 1969-1971.

A visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2019 at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton. Cremation rites will be accorded after visitation and a private graveside service will be held with Pastor Scott Schmidt, officiating.  Memorials may be directed to St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Princeton.
