Riley E Travis Sr.

Riley E. Travis Sr., 69, of Wyanet passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023 at St. Paul Medical Center, Mendota.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2023 at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation.
Riley was born on October 11, 1953 in Kewanee to Everett and Geneva (Crain) Travis. He married Susan Camp on June 29, 1974 in Wyanet.
He was a machinist and worked at Harper Wyman.  He enjoyed fishing, playing card games, collecting frogs and junk (such as scrap metal) and he was also an avid Elvis Presley fan. 
Survivors include his wife, Susan Travis of Wyanet; one son, Riley Travis Jr. of Wyanet; one daughter, Candedia Riordan of Spring Valley; one brother, Raymond Travis; two sisters, Penny (Guy) Sharkey and Debbie (Mark) Baker; grandchildren, Erin, Sean II, Travis and Jacob Riordan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Charles, Rocky, Ronald and Robert; two sisters, Shannon and Geneva “Jane”.
