Richard G Bradley

Richard G. Bradley, 80, of Wyanet died at 9:35 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at Long Term Care Center, Hammond Henry Hospital, Geneseo. Born April 27, 1934, in Princeton to Lewis and Margaret (Henderson) Bradley, he married Alma E. Dall Nov. 9, 1958, in Princeton. She survives. Also surviving are one niece, Katherine (Mark) Munson of Portsmouth, Va.; and eight other nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donald Bradley; one sister-in-law, Shirley Bradley; and a nephew, Gary Bradley. He graduated from Wyanet High School in 1953 and attended Western Illinois University. He worked for Strunk Brothers Asphalt, Advanced Asphalt Company and the Bureau County Highway Department with township highway commissioners. He was a former Wyanet Precinct Committeeman and a former trustee of the Wyanet Fire Protection District. He also farmed for 37 years. He and his brother restored antique tractors. There will be no services. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be directed to the Wyanet Fire Department and Wyanet Rescue Unit.
