Patricia Ann Antrim

Patricia Ann Antrim (Smith),83, of Bradford, IL passed away on December 7, 2020 at Aperion Nursing Home in Spring Valley.

Patricia was born June 24th 1937 born to Alfred and Ruth Ann Smith in Hartford, CT. Patricia met Richard Antrim while he was on leave from the Navy in Connecticut. They married on June 28th 1958 moving to Putnam County, IL. Pat and Dick had three children: Debbie, Deanna, and Cindy and later divorced in 1989.

Pat was a stay-at-home mother who enjoyed crocheting and baking. She later went to work at the Marshall Putnam Meat Locker where she retired from. Pat met Arthur Reed in 1993 who she would spend the next 25 years until his passing in 2017. The two resided in Bradford, IL where they enjoyed spending their time with their many grandchildren. Pat enjoyed playing BINGO, visiting the casino, and playing cards with the boys.   

Pat is survived by her three daughters Debbie Wright, Deanna Stephens and Cindy Forrest, 9 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. Pat also had 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild to which Art shared with her.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 3 sisters, first husband Richard Antrim, and life partner Arthur Reed.

A memorial graveside service will be held Friday, August 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. to lay her to rest with Art at the Osceola Grove Cemetery. Memorials and Donations may be made on her behalf to the Alzheimer’s Association. Online condolences may be sent to www.grant-johnsonfh.com.
