Neil E Lindberg

Neil E. Lindberg, 69, of Princeton passed away at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. He was born Dec. 18, 1948, in Chicago, the son of Howard T. and Eleanor (Rhode) Lindberg. He married Deborah Rae Larson on Jan. 30, 1971, in Bensenville. She survives. He graduated from East Leyden High School in Franklin Park. He was a resident engineer for Walter E. Deuchler Associates, Inc. in Aurora and was an Arispie Township trustee. He enjoyed golf and target shooting. Also surviving are one daughter, Keri (Kris) Komorn of North Aurora; one grandson, Rece Komorn of North Aurora; one brother, Rusty Lindberg; and one sister, Karen Lee. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 16, at the First Lutheran Church in Princeton with Pastor Bill Shields officiating. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association. The Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.grant-johnsonfh.com.
Uncle Neil…you will be missed more than words can say. You are forever young in my eyes. Gone way too soon, but your memories will live on forever.

I am so sorry to hear about Neil! I met Neil so many years ago when he worked for AJ Lowe. My husband Al had the pleasure of working with him or for him many times over the years. We are both saddened and shocked. Simply the nicest and greatest guy. He will be missed!
