Muriel Harmon, 83, of Tiskilwa died at 1 p.m. Oct. 3, 2014, in her home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton. Deacon John Murphy will officiate. Burial will be at Mount Bloom Cemetery, Tiskilwa. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today in the funeral home. Mrs. Harmon was born May 2, 1931, in Streator to Reuben and Lydia (Orr) Campbell. She married Walter N. Harmon on Oct. 28, 1951, in Bradford. She earned a bachelor of science degree in 1966 from Bradley University, Peoria. She was owner and operator of Harmon Real Estate for 17 years and worked for Landmark Realty, Princeton. She and her husband were involved in a farming and excavating business. She earned a managing broker license. She taught business subjects at Bradford High School for many years. She received her pilot''s license in 1967. She was a member of Boyd''s Grove United Methodist Church in Bradford, the Illinois Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Survivors are her husband; four daughters, Peggy (Gary Grindley) Harmon of Urbana, Nancy (Mark) Johnston of Tiskilwa, Deb (John) Bohm of Walnut and Cindy (David) Jennings of Rhome, Texas; nine grandchildren, Joseph (Melissa) Dever, Corey (Shayla) Dever, Chad Dever, Jana Bohm, Kyle Bohm, Eric (Olivia) Johnston, Nick (Jessica) Johnston, Nikki (Bo) Duge and Megan Jennings; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bea Holland of Bushnell and Benita Wiggins of Crawfordsville, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Betty Campbell of McNabb; and one brother, John Campbell of Lampe, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Christopher Johnston; one brother, Glen Campbell; and one sister, Norma Armstrong. Memorials may be directed to Tiskilwa Public Library Building Fund, Tiskilwa Community Association or the donor''s choice.
