Mary Louise Kennedy, 90, of rural Princeton died at 1:03 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, at her home. Born June 29, 1925, in Manlius to John and Eliza (Bradley) Behrens, she married Don C. Kennedy Sept. 12, 1963, in Wyanet. He died Sept. 14, 2007. She was a graduate of Wyanet High School and a homemaker. She had also worked as a telephone operator in Wyanet, was the librarian for 10 years at the Raymond Sapp Memorial Library in Wyanet, was an assistant for Wyanet Grade School, a secretary for Stubler''s Garage in Wyanet and had worked at Kraft Foods in Manlius. Surviving are one son, Kevin (Treva) Kennedy of Walnut; one daughter, Maureen (Gary) Meier of Wyanet; three grandchildren, Tyler, Trevin and Tiana Kennedy of Walnut; two stepgrandchildren, Nick Meier of Hampton and Logan Meier of Geneseo; and five sisters, Ann Mae Frech of Chicago, Alice Bergland of Anchorage, Alaska, Helen Coble of Columbus, Ohio, Joan See - Pontiac, Mich., and Edna (Jim) Adams of Middletown, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Roger Behrens Private graveside serves will be held at Elm Lawn Memorial Park in Princeton with the Rev. Connie Bauer officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the Wyanet Rescue Squad, Manlius Rescue Squad, Focus on the Family and VITAS Hospice in LaSalle.
