Mary L. Harris, 73, of Wyanet, Illinois passed away at 12:59 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Aperion Care Nursing Home, Princeton.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Mary was born February 12, 1948 in Waterloo, Iowa the daughter of Charles C. and Edna V. (Johnston) Clark.

She married Roy Houk on December 31, 1966. They divorced. She married Craig Harris November 20, 1971 and they divorced.

She is survived by three children: Rhonda Houk of Princeton, Illinois, Andrea Diaz of Wyanet, Illinois, and Craig (Kami) Harris, Jr of Wataga, Illinois; 6 grandchildren: Miguel, Carmen, and Erika Diaz, Tyler Clark, Cade Clark, and Sydney Harris,  three step-grandchildren: Ely (Aenka) Robinson, Calab (Michelle) Robinson, and Ivy (Jake) Peed; four great-grandchildren: Leya Diaz, Marlei Diaz, Daniel Williams, Magnolia Diaz;  seven step-great-grandchildren Iva, Freya, Ashlynn, Keidis, Aria, Alexis, and Laikyn; one brother, Don (Sue) Clark; and one sister, Nancy Camp and many nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Harley Clark, John Clark, and Wesley James Clark, in infancy, and her first husband, Roy Houk.

 She graduated from Princeton, Missouri High School in 1966. She earned her Certified Nursing Assitant certificate at Oakwood in Kewanee, Illinois.

 She worked as a CNA in various nursing homes in the area for 30 years.

 Mary loved to dance, gardening, canning, garage sales and spending time with friends and family.
