Mary Beth Lewis, 63, of Dunlap, IL passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Allure of Walnut in Walnut, IL.
Mary was born on October 25, 1961, in Elyria, Ohio, the daughter of Robert and Helen (White) Bozman. Mary worked as a home care aid for Addus Home Health for many years. She loved socializing and caring for others. When she met her significant other years ago, Mary was introduced to a new love of everything Harley Davidson and became a member of the Peoria-Tazewell A.B.A.T.E of Illinois. She had a love for playing solitaire, coloring books, word searches, arts and crafts, and watching hummingbirds out her living room window. Mary also enjoyed going for drives in the countryside and visiting friends in Tennessee. Most of all, Mary loved her family and spent every moment she could with her children and grandchildren. To know her was to love her. She will truly be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Survivors include her three daughters, Shannon (Yazan) Saeed of Morris, Tabitha (Kyle) Sirek of Channahon and Miranda (Will) Benavidez of Manlius; seven grandchildren, Carter Samuels, Kole Samuels, Payton Sirek, Jaxon Sirek, Brody Lewis, Lennox Benavidez and Ellisynn Benavidez; significant other, Mark Jibben; two sisters, Teresa (Randy) Gibbons of Tiskilwa, and Ann (Larry) Barrette of Oswego; nephews, nieces and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Darrell Bozman and Robert Bozman and nephew Christopher.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
A memorial has been established.
