Martin C. Puyear

Martin C. Puyear, 81, of Princeton, Illinois passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Aperion Care Nursing Home, Princeton.

 He was born May 24, 1940 in Princeton, Illinois the son of Robert Thomas and Lucy Eleanor (Stoner) Puyear.  

 Martin married Donna Hartman in 1965. She preceded him in death.             .

 He is survived by four siblings: Fran Little of Earlville, Illinois, Tamera (Barry) Tuft of Rockford, Illinois, Thomas Puyear of Tiskilwa, Illinois, and Donald (Doreen) Puyear of Wyanet, Illinois and numerous nieces and nephews.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Roberta Muldoon and Eleanor Lyons and two brothers- in law.

 Martin worked at Jostens for over 30 years, where he was a tool and die maker.  

 He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and his cats.  

 Martin served in the United States Navy.

 Cremation rites will be accorded and a private family service will be held at a later date.
