Marilyn K Bangtson

Marilyn K. Bangtson, 74, of Bloomington, died at 8:29 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011, at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal. She was born March 5, 1937, in Buda to Foster C. and Edna A. (Philhower) Bangtson. She graduated from Buda High School. She worked as a section leader for Country Companies Insurance of Bloomington. She was a former member of the Buda Congregational Church. Survivors include her mother, Edna A. Bangtson of Bloomington, and her life partner, Larry A. Ryan of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her father and two infant sisters. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hopeland Cemetery in Buda, the Rev. Jane Courtright officiating. Burial will be in the Hopeland Cemetery in Buda. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the I.A.A. Credit Union
