Marilyn J. Wagner, 80, of Princeton died at 9:20 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at Liberty Village of Princeton. She was born Feb. 9, 1933, in Dover Township to Ervin and Edith (Swanson) Woolley. She married Clarence V. "Nub" Wagner in Princeton on May 9, 1953. He survives. Other survivors include a son, Tom (Diane) Wagner of Princeton; three grandchildren, Rachel (Matt) Ross of Princeton, Jennifer (Matt Stumpf) Wagner of Princeton, and Sr. Airman Derek (Alex) Wagner of Misawa, Japan; three great-grandchildren, Dominik Ross of Princeton, Brody Ross of Princeton, and Emery Goshert of Misawa, Japan; and one sister, Shirley Miller of Hennepin. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Nancy Wagner; a great-granddaughter, Harper Marie Wagner and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1951. She was employed in the administration at Perry Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1995. She was a lifetime member of St. Matthew''s Lutheran Church in Princeton, a charter member and volunteer for Meals on Wheels and a Cub Scout leader. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Matthew''s Lutheran Church, Princeton or Vitas Hospice, 105 Marquette Street, Suite A, LaSalle, IL 61301. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, the Rev. Scott Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
