Margaret Helen Schaill, 90, of Princeton, formerly of Wyanet, died at 1:46 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Liberty Village of Princeton. Born April 21, 1920, in Ohio Township to John Carl and Tillie Clara (Miller) Erickson, she married Richard Leon Schaill Nov. 16, 1940, in Clinton, Iowa. He died June 11, 1993. Surviving are one son, Rev. Richard (Kathy) Schaill of Princeton; one daughter, Linda (Galen) Townsend of Wyanet; two brothers, Jack and Robert Erickson of Princeton; four sisters, Alice Morris and Helen (Gary) Vaughn, both of Princeton, Minnie Shipp of Wyanet and Elsie Jackson of Dover; five grandchildren, Kris (Joe) Donarski and Lori Owens, both of Princeton, Korby (Cami) Schaill of Peoria Heights, Dustin (Tiffany) Schaill of Wyanet and Alana Schaill of Peoria; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Donald Schaill; two brothers, Russell and Arthur Erickson; one sister, Martha Hoffman; four brothers-in-law, Bob Jackson, Gordon Shipp, Charles Morris and Richard Hoffman; and one sister-in-law, Betty Erickson. She attended school in Bureau County. She and her husband owned and operated Cities Service Gas Station in Ohio, Ill., and she was a homemaker. She was a member of New Hope Church of the Nazarene in Princeton. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with Pastor Laura Root officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Princeton. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
