Mabel Ropp, 91, of Buda, formerly of Bradford, passed away at 7:20 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2013, at Liberty Village of Princeton. Born July 13, 1922, in Putnam to Charles Jr. and Ethel (Welch) Dorff, she married Walter A. Ropp Nov. 9, 1939, in Henry. He died Jan. 23, 1981. She was a farmer''s wife. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Princeton. Surviving are two daughters, Joyce (Mike) Mowbray of Chilicothe and Betty Frazier of Princeton; one son, Dale (Sally) Ropp of Buda; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one grandson, Christopher Ropp; and four brothers, Harvey, Raymond, Lee and Roy Dorff. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with the Rev. Brian Hall officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Gary Mowbray, Fred Frazier, Tim Frazier, Robert Rouse, Mike Menerey & Douglas Frazier. Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church.

Betty, Dale and families, I am so sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Grandma Ropp was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed by many.
It hurts to lose a loved one. You have our sympathies. May you find comfort and peace in Christ’s love for you.
