Lula Mae Frank Day, 80, of Moline, formerly of Buda, died at 1:23 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Trinity East Campus in Moline. Born May 6, 1932, in Milo Township, Bradford, to George William and Alice (Elmore) Ratliff, she married Charles Henry Frank Sept. 4, 1949, in Buda. He died May 15, 1983. She then married Edwin L. Day Nov. 1, 2003, in Buda. He survives. She was a homemaker and had worked at Harper-Wyman in Princeton. She was a member of the Sheffield United Methodist Church and attended All Saints Episcopal Church in Moline. Also surviving are one daughter, Linda (Thomas) Van Vooren of Sheffield; three sons, Stephen (Marilyn) Frank of Bourbonnais, Bruce Frank of Buda and Russell Frank of Manlius; two stepsons, Mark (Rhonda) Day of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Scott M. (Cathy) Day of West Des Moines, Iowa; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elmarene Thompson of Dixon, Wauneta Lang of Galva and Shirley Bornsheuer of Princeton; and one brother, Robert (Carol) Ratliff of Princeton. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, George, Harold and Ronald Ratliff. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with the Rev James E. Allemeier officiating. Burial will be in Hopeland Cemetery, Buda. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family or the donor''s choice.
