Lois A Elder

Lois A. Elder, 74, of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of Sheffield, died at 8:40 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at Colonial Rehab and Nursing Center in Princeton. She was born Jan. 7, 1936, in Kewanee to Floyd and Elsie (Krook) Noard. Surviving are three daughters, Pam (Bart Cox) Rodgers of Venice, Fla., Jan (Rodney Sugars) Rodgers of Sheffield and Sue (Steve) Spratt of Sheffield; one son, Kurt (Deanna) Rodgers of Rockford; one sister, LouAnn (Bob) Foster of Maggie Valley, N.C.; three grandchildren, Michael (Shelley) Spratt of Lewistown, Stephanie Molln of Princeton and Caleb Rodgers-McMurray of Sheffield; and three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jerry F. Elder. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the First United Church of Christ in Sheffield. Inurnment will follow at the Sheffield Cemetery.
