 Linda L. Roberts, 70, of Buda, Illinois passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

 Linda was born August 23, 1950 in Princeton, Illinois the daughter of Vee and Frances (Greenback) Nevitt.

 She married Randy Roberts on February 19, 1982 in Buda, Illinois. He survives in Buda.  

 Also surviving are four daughters: Kay (Jarrod) Townsend of Wyanet, Illinois, Tracy (Scott) Novotny of St. Charles, MO, Nicole (Phil) Dietsch of Fort Wayne, IN, and Renee (Erick) Benavidez of Sheffield, IL; one son: Ryan (Amy) Roberts of Hopkinsville, KY; 11 grandchildren: Dylan, Daelyn, Danicka, Audrey, Bradley, Faye, Zachary, Madison, Lydia, Joshua, and Ashleigh; two great-grandchildren: Mason and James; two sisters: Rita (Steve) Salsman of Tiskilwa, IL and Barb (Dick) Schmitt of Tiskilwa, IL; one brother: Jim Nevitt of New Orleans, LA; her mother-in law, Joann Roberts of Buda; two brothers-in law, George (Cheryl) Roberts and Mike (Audrey Troutman) Roberts; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Paul, Danny, and Larry Nevitt and one sister, Alene Metcalf.

 She graduated from Tiskilwa High School and earned her associates degree in nursing at Blackhawk College.

 Linda worked as an LPN at the Toulon Nursing Home for 25 years.

 She enjoyed doing diamond art, traveling with her husband, fishing, and watching cooking shows. Most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

 A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the First Lutheran Church, Princeton with Pastor Bill Shields officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded after the service and burial will take place at a later date. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, Illinois. Memorials may be directed to Hopeland Cemetery, Buda, Illinois.

  3. I am sorry we never met, but I know that your children love you and they are going to miss you so. Thank you for the love you have given my son too. Scott and Tracy are very much in love and Tracy can lean on him always. I could never be you, but I am here for Tracy whenever she needs me. May you RIP.
