Lilly Mae Wiggim, 94, a resident of Greenfield in Princeton, IL formerly of Walnut, IL passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton. Lilly Mae Wiggim was born on May 20, 1923 in Tiskilwa, Illinois to Oscar and Margaret (Rutherford) Morris. She married Marion Wiggim on November 27, 1946 in Tiskilwa. He preceded her in death on June 19, 2003. She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Manlius, past member of the Dorcas Circle, a member of ELCA, past member of the Bureau Township Community Club, past member of the Women of the Moose of Sterling, a member of Perry Memorial Axilary, a Royal Neighbors member and served on the Bureau Township election board for many years. Survivors include 2 sons: Doug (Pat) Wiggim of Wyanet, IL Darrell Wiggim of Los Angeles, CA, one daughter, Denise (John) Hayes of Princeton, IL, one daughter-in law, Carol Wiggim of O''Fallon, MO; 7 grandchildren: Tricia Stecher of Scottsdale, AZ, Teri Ann (Corey) Pursley of O''Fallon, MO, Corey Wiggim of St. Louis, MO, Matt (Andrea) Wiggim of Wyanet, Illinois, Chad Taylor of Sheffield, IL, Eric (Ashley Sanden) Wiggim of Wyanet, Illinois, and Brittney (Aaron) Blythe of Mahomet, IL; 9 great-grandchildren: Faithann, Jakin, Jase, Carly, Zac, Josie, Bailey, Shelby, and Collins; a sister-in law, Anabelle Morris of Princeton, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Dennis, her parents, one brother, Joe Morris and two sisters, Margaret Morris and Anabelle Anderson. A visitation will be Friday, March 16, 2018 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manlius, IL. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Manlius, IL with Rev. Dan Stalker officiating. Burial will take place in Oakland Cemetery in Princeton, IL. Memorials may be directed to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manlius, IL or Greenfield Senior Living, Princeton, IL. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful friendly lady and will be missed. I always enjoyed visiting with her when she would stop by the store.
