Lila Joyce Oloffson, 80, of Manlius died at 10:40 a.m. Sunday, June 27, 2010, at Oak Brook Health Care & Rehab Centre in Oak Brook. Born Jan. 18, 1930, in New Bedford to Alvy and Frances (Lambert) Roush, she married Richard Burton Oloffson Feb. 26, 1950, in New Bedford. He died Oct. 5, 1998. She was a 1947 graduate of Manlius High School and received an associate degree in 1975 from Black Hawk Jr. College East. She worked at Black Hawk College for 10 years. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manlius. She loved her family and her church and music was a large part of her life. Surviving are three sons, Richard "Rick" (Margaret) Oloffson of Naperville, Gary Oloffson of Peoria and Greg Oloffson of Diamond; one daughter, Sherri (David) Lee of Hinsdale; two sisters, Dorothy Swanson of Walnut and Marilyn (Wayne) Moore of Sheffield; and eight grandchildren, Richard (Beth) Oloffson of Maineville, Ohio, Andrew Oloffson of Naperville, Michael, Katie, Christopher and Ryan Lee of Hinsdale, and Sean and Samantha Oloffson of Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Donald Roush, Alvy Ray Roush and Gary Roush; and one sister, Blanche Roush. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manlius, with the Rev. Brenda Lovick officiating. Burial will be in the Manlius Cemetery, Manlius. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton. Memorials may be directed to the National Parkinson Foundation, P.O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018. Pallbearers: Rich Oloffson, Andrew Oloffson, Michael Lee, Christopher Lee, Ryan Lee, Sean Oloffson. Honorary Pallbearers: Wayne Moore, Mike Ford, David Lee, Katie Lee and Samantha Oloffson.
