Lelah W. Isaacson, 86, of Princeton passed away at 10:28 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014, at home in Princeton. Born Dec. 13, 1927, in Monroe, Wis., to Adam and Grace (Ward) Schwartzlow, she married Clarence "Larry" Isaacson Sept. 12, 1946, in Monroe, Wis. He died Sept. 9, 2006. She graduated from Monroe High School in Monroe, Wis. She was a homemaker, and the owner/operator of the Blue Top Motel, Princeton Motor Lodge and Holiday Inn/Lincoln Inn, all of Princeton. She was a member of the Bureau Valley Country Club and Princeton Elks Lodge. Surviving are four sons, John (Chris) Isaacson of Princeton, Tom (Patricia) Isaacson of Princeton, Jim (Dorothy) Isaacson of Edwards and Kenny (Jean) Isaacson of Princeton; three daughters, Mary (Charlie) Scanland of Princeton, Dodie (John) Campbell of Princeton and Susie Isaacson of Princeton; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters, Marion Moth and Kate Bennis. There will be no services. Cremation rites will be accorded and inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society & American Lung Association.
