Larry L. Kerrick, 82, of Princeton, passed away early Sunday morning, March 7, 2021.

Born April 20, 1938 in Wichita, Kansas at the St. Frances Hospital to Clarence G. and Nellie F. (Kimberley) Kerrick of Greensburg, Kansas. He graduated from Alwood High School, Woodhull, IL.

Larry worked as an electrical designer at American Air Filter in Moline and was transferred to Plymouth, Minnesota when the plant was closed. After 7 years, he was again transferred to their new plant in New York as senior electrical designer. In 2000 he retired and in 2001, he and Rosie moved back to Illinois to be near family. After a couple of year's retirement, he began working as a driver for BPART, later becoming the director. Larry was an EMT on the rescue units in Sheffield, Annawan and Wyanet. He loved camping, gardening, woodworking, photography, helping people and in his last couple of years he learned to do leatherwork, making Bible covers and checkbook covers for family and friends.

Larry married Rosalie "Rosie" Nelson Eckdahl May 19, 1987. She survives along with two children from his first marriage, Jene (Tom) Kinsley, Princeton and David Kerrick, Princeton, a step-son, Craig Eckdahl, Princeton, along with grandchildren, Joe Eckdahl, Aaron Eckdahl, and Katie Cutright, all of Kansas and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Gateway Services or New Hope Church of the Nazarene in Princeton. Online condolences may be sent to www.grant-johnsonfh.com.
