Kenneth O. Anderson, 90, of Princeton died at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. Born April 10, 1922, in Tiskilwa to Otto and Neva (Zink) Anderson, he married Anabelle T. Morris Dec. 10, 1946, at Fort Sheridan in Chicago. She survives. He attended Providence Grade School and graduated from Buda High School in 1940. He was a REA lineman and a Princeton City lineman. He farmed for nine years on the family farm. He was also a union electrician. Kenneth was devoted to God, his wife and his family. Also surviving are four daughters, Karen (Phil) McArdle of Dwight, Linda (Terry) Lanthrum of Elburn, Cheryl Anderson of Princeton and Lori (Scott) Cook of Normal; seven grandchildren, Tim (Wendy) Goodrum of Princeton, Nathan Lanthrum of Geneva, Andrew (Allison) Lanthrum of Kaishihara, Japan, Sarah (Greg) Johnson of Peoria, Kelsey Larkey of Princeton, Jessica Cook of Normal and Kody Cook of Normal; two great-grandchildren, Mason and Ava Goodrum of Princeton; one sister, Ruth (Jim) Henkel of Park Forest; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and spouses, Eleanor (Chuck) Voeste and Elaine (Harold) Olsen; and two brothers-in-law, Marion Wiggim and Joseph Morris. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the New Hope Church of the Nazarene, Princeton, with pastor Laura Root-Tanner officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Princeton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family of Kenneth O. Anderson. Pallbearers will be Nathan Lanthrum, Andrew Lanthrum, Tim Goodrum, Greg Johnson, Kody Cook and Michael Nuding.
