Kenneth K. Foster, 86, of Buda passed away at 9:35 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 at Colonial Hall in Princeton. Born Dec. 27, 1926, in Buda to Earl and Jessie (Philhower) Foster, he married Florence I. Adams Aug. 14, 1948, in Buda. She died Jan. 4, 2004. He was a graduate of Buda High School. He was a farmer and had worked at Allis Chalmers Dealer J & K Equipment in Buda and Martin Texico in Buda. He also was a welder for many years. He was a charter member of Buda Fire and Rescue and a member of the First Baptist Church in Buda. Surviving are two sons, Tiny (Cindy) Foster of Buda and Terry (Joan) Foster of Buda; one daughter, Debbie (Bill) DeBates of Bureau; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Linda Skaggs in 1999; four grandchildren; and one sister, Marian Gingerich. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with Gaile Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Hopeland Cemetery, Buda. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Buda Rescue Squad, Buda Fire Department or Hopeland Cemetery.
