Kathleen Lanham

Kathleen (Husemann) Lanham, 65, of Wyanet, Illinois passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at home.
She was born July 30, 1956 in Ottawa, Illinois to David and Marlene (Meaney) Husemann. She married Christopher "Rick" Lanham on May 15, 1976.
Surviving are her husband of 45 years along with their children: Christopher (Patricia) Lanham and Haley (Don "DJ" Emmert) Lanham; two siblings: Shelley (Bruce) Yates of Wyanet and David Husemann of Princeton; four granddaughters: Brynley Colby, Jaiden Hand, Colyer Lanham, and Krishlyn Lanham; two great-grandchildren: Kassidy Mesick-Colby and Ridge Hand.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Marlene Husemann of Princeton and a sister, Darcy (Husemann) Lang of Sheffield.
She was a secretary at Culligan in Wyanet for over 40 years.
Kathy was an avid golfer. She loved her family and her many nieces and nephews. Kathy touched many lives in her 65 years. She will be missed by her many friends.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
A golf outing is being planned for July 31, 2022 at Hidden Lake Country Club in Sheffield for all that would like to attend. Proceeds will be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I am so sorry to hear about Kathy’s passing. I knew her from Curves. She was always such a sweet lady and a hard worker. It always brought a smile to my face when she’d walk through the Curves door during her lunch break. My heart and prayers go out to her family during this difficult time.

I was so very sorry to hear this. Kathy was always so sweet to me when I would visit Sheffield. My deepest sympathies to Rick and the entire Lanham family.
So sorry to learn of Kathy’s passing. I knew her from having her children as students but really got to know her from working out with her at Curves. Such a fun lady! She loved her golf!!
