Kathleen L. Doyle

Kathleen “Kathy” L. Doyle, 70, of Princeton, Illinois, passed away at her home on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

Kathy was born on June 29, 1955, to Peter C. and June A. (Peterson) Doyle, Sr. She worked as a Quality Control Technician at LCN in Princeton for more than 20 years before retiring.

Kathy enjoyed cross-stitching, watching the Homestead Festival Parade, and sharing dinners with her family. She cherished her parakeets, Peeps and Gabby. Most of all, she loved being “Aunt K” to her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Kathy is survived by her five siblings: Greg Doyle of Princeton; Pete (Laurie) Doyle of Rock Island; Mindy (Rob) Swanson of Castle Rock, Colorado; Tim (Mandy) Doyle of Zeeland, Michigan; and Joe (Azar) Doyle of Edwardsville, Illinois. She is also survived by five nieces, seven nephews, three great-nieces, and four great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Michael.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, July 10, 2026 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton with Father Austin Bosse officiating. Burial of Cremated Remains will immediately follow the mass at Oakland Cemetery. Cremation Rites have been accorded.

Memorials may be directed to the Magi Baby Chest at St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton.
