Karin Sue Jensen

Karin Sue Jensen, 80, passed away the morning of February 13, 2023, at Heritage Health in Walnut, IL. 

Karin was born on July 2, 1942, in Sterling, IL to parents, Rudolph and Marjorie  (Lincoln) Fischer.

She married Harley Jensen on June 13, 1964 at the Christian Church in New Bedford, IL.

Karin is survived by her two sons, Jerry (Kim) Jensen of Princeton and Bobby Stern of Walnut.  She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 sisters, Barb and Janice, as well as a daughter-in-law, Debbie (Richie) Jensen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Richie Jensen and her brother, Howard Fischer.

Karin enjoyed her 42 years of working at Avanti Foods in Walnut. Her passion was spending time with the grandchildren and attending their games. 

Cremation rites will be accorded and the family will be holding a private graveside service at a later date.
