OHIO, Ill. — June Finley, 84, of Ohio, Ill., formerly of Princeton, died at 8:55 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. Born Oct. 3, 1931, in Clovis, N.M., to James F. and Myrtle (Whitener) Walker, she married Richard H. Finley on March 17, 1951, in Clovis, N.M. He died Jan. 31, 1987. She was a 1950 graduate of Clovis High School. She was a beautician for 54 years, retiring in 1996. She attended the Walnut Community Bible Church. She loved cooking, baking, embroidery and spending time with family. Surviving are one son, Donald B. (Kimberly) Finley of Princeton; two grandchildren, Benjamin Finley of Princeton and William Finley of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one infant son, Dickie F. Finley; two brothers, James and Alfred Walker; and two sisters, Lovelle Childs and Wanda Dunn. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Eldon Cook officiating. Burial will be in Missions Gardens Cemetery in Clovis, N.M., at a later date. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Walnut Community Bible Church, Quest Church of Mendota or to the family.
