Joseph D. Fleming Jr., 27, of Walnut, formerly of Plano, died at 3 a.m. Sunday, June 5, 2016, in rural Wyanet. He was born March 24, 1989, in Aurora to Joseph D. and Barbara L. (Dotson) Fleming Sr. He was employed by Bureau County Pool Builders, Inc. in Buda. Surviving are one daughter, Jocelynn Fleming of Walnut; one son, Jonah Fleming of Walnut; four sisters, Melissa Bryant of Sheffield, Erica Warren of Princeton, Barbie, and Megan Fleming of Virginia; two brothers, Bryan Wilder of Princeton and Arlan Cornwall of Walnut; three nieces, Kortni Bryant of Tennessee, Katy Bryant of Walnut and Isabel Gonzalez of Florida; and one nephew, Austin Minick of Sandwich. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 10, at the Walnut Community Bible Church, Walnut, and a candlelight memorial service will be at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Alexander Park in Princeton. Pastor Nathan Richey will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Homes, Inc. Crematory, Princeton. Memorials may be directed to the children of Joseph D. Fleming Jr. in care of Kirsten Fries, 211 Walnut Grove Drive, Apt. 2, Walnut, IL 61376.
