John Michael Barkley

John Michael Barkley, 67, of Wyanet died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019, at home.

He was born Oct. 21, 1952, in Princeton to John C. and Patricia J. (Yochem) Barkley.

He was a 1970 graduate of Wyanet High School. He worked at LCN in Princeton.

Surviving are his stepmother, Carolyn J. Barkley of Wyanet; a brother, Kelly (Marianna) Barkley of Princeton; two stepbrothers, Steve (Susan) Cruse of Windsor, Wis., and Ron (Lisa) Cruse of Geneva; a stepsister, Julia Farraher of Princeton; nieces and nephews; and two uncles, Jim (Mary Kay) Barkley of Peoria and Bernard Barkley of Washington, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two uncles, Jerry Barkley and Donald Rhea; and two sisters, Thersha Warren and Judy Young.

There will be no services. Cremation rites will be accorded at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Homes Inc. Crematory in Princeton. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Wyanet at a later date.
