Jodi Lynne (Reed) Frasure

Jodi Lynne (Reed) Frasure, age 63, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Jodi was born on August 1, 1963, in Kewanee, Illinois, the daughter of Frank Reed and Roberta Brady. She was raised on a farm in Bradford, Illinois, and was a graduate of Bradford High School.

Jodi worked for the University of Illinois College of Medicine as a Residency Coordinator and later worked for Wake Forest University College of Medicine in North Carolina. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and living a healthy lifestyle. Most of all, Jodi cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.

Jodi is survived by her cherished and beloved partner, Dave Stange, of Raleigh, North Carolina; her former husband, Bill Frasure, of Princeton; daughter, Jami Frasure, of McNabb; son, Justin (Danny) Stange, of Tiskilwa; and her beloved grandchildren, Kimora, Harrison, and Lorelai, of McNabb.

She is also survived by her parents, Frank Reed of Bradford, Illinois, and Roberta Brady of Wyoming, Illinois; her sisters, Karen Simpson (Richard Scovil) of Bermuda Run, North Carolina, Julia (Chris) VonHolten of Walnut, Illinois, and Linda (Guy) Kurtz of Carbondale, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.

Jodi was preceded in death by her step-father, Kenneth “Dean” Brady.

Jodi’s family will forever cherish the memories they shared with her and the love, laughter, and joy she brought into their lives.

A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Boyd’s Grove United Methodist Church in Bradford, Illinois with Pastor Gary Black and Pastor Dan Wright co-officiating.

Cremation rites have been accorded in Raleigh, North Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Boyd’s Grove United Methodist Church.
