Joann Marie (Duncan) Golden, 61, of Henry, IL died at 3:55 a.m. at her home. Jo was born March 25, 1952 in Peoria to C. Earl & Audrey M. (Potter) Duncan. She attended Woodruff High School, graduating in 1971. After traveling, she settled in Colorado Springs, CO. where she was a student of the CS Deaf & Blind School. She managed several Texaco stations in the area. Joann and Paul D. Golden were married on August 19, 1995. They lived a very happy life together until his passing. She moved back to Illinois to be near family. She was a member of Boyd''s Grove United Methodist Church, and was an active member and volunteer until her health no longer permitted. She is survived by her mother, Audrey Denholm; 2 sisters, Sandy (Kevin) Stewart of Mesa, AZ & Shirley Feurer of Lynnwood, WA; nieces, Jennifer (Roger) Tucker of Henry, Tess Prange of Bellvue, NE, and Mariah (Peter) Calkins of Mountlake Terrace, WA.; two-stepdaughters, Shannon and Allison; and granddaughter Aurora. Also surviving is Keri Meyers her friend and caregiver. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Boyd''s Grove United Methodist Church, rural Bradford with Pastor Amy Holman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Graveside services for the family in Avon, IL.
