Jimmie D. Cruse, 72, of Walnut died at 9:25 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at Walnut Manor in Walnut. He was born July 24, 1938, in Princeton to James A. and Pearl (Allen) Cruse. He was a 1956 graduate of Wyanet High School. He was the owner and operator of Jim Cruse Construction and worked for Walnut Custom Homes. He was a member of Wyanet VFW Post 6634 and Princeton Elks Lodge 1461. Surviving are two sons, Steve (Susan) Cruse of Windsor, Wis., and Ron (Lisa) Cruse of Geneva; one daughter, Julie (Tim) Farraher of Princeton; and six grandchildren, Braxton and Dexter Cruse of Windsor, Wis., Matthew and Alyssa Cruse of Geneva, and Ashley and Jake Farraher of Princeton. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Joyce Cruse. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with the Rev. Robert H. Allen officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Wyanet. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Wyanet V.F.W. #6634
